NN Group signs partnership with startup accelerator

Today, NN Group signed a three-year partnership with StartupBootcamp, known in the industry as an ‘accelerator’, which helps young, promising companies grow. StartupBootcamp supports startups as they scale globally, providing them with direct access to an international network of relevant mentors, partners and investors in their industry.

Under the agreement, NN Group will sponsor StartupBootcamp’s FinTech & Cyber Security programme. This programme aims at taking the industry to new levels in terms of speed and customer-centricity.

In addition to sponsoring, NN Group will offer professional assistance to fintech startups by providing employee mentors. These mentors have professional expertise in, for instance, finance, insurance or human resources. Also, through internships, our employees are given the opportunity to gain insight and hands-on experience in fintech product innovation.

‘This partnership is a good opportunity for us to support young startups in becoming successful fintech companies’, says Mariken Tannemaat, Chief Innovation Officer of NN Group. ‘Both fintech startups and our company can learn from each other. Together we can help customers improve their financial futures by ensuring that new digital products are personal and relevant to them’.
