NN Hellas, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Athens and Orange Grove, is organising the startup competition 'Ideas That Change Us'.
The competition, organised for the first time, targets technology and health startups with solutions promoting prevention, wellness and better health. The goal of the collaboration between NN Hellas and Orange Grove is to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in Greece.
The strongest teams from the initial call for participants will enter an intensive three-month acceleration and mentoring programme, led by Dutch accelerators IdeaHackers. Participants will benefit frοm the experience and knowledge of executives from NN Hellas, Orange Grove and IdeaHackers, and will gain access to new business networks. The final phase of the competition will take place in early December when the best teams will pitch their business ideas in front of a jury.
The Dutch Ambassador in Greece, Mr Caspar Veldkamp, said, 'We are very pleased to announce our new cooperation with NN Hellas within the framework of Orange Grove. This competition will offer a unique opportunity to Greek teams and startups to cooperate with, and learn from, top Greek and Dutch specialists in the field of health-tech, combining valuable expertise from both countries.'
Fleur Hudig, NN Group’s Head of Corporate Citizenship, said, ‘The start-up competition in Greece fits perfectly with the goal of NN Future Matters, our global community investment programme. As part of this programme we offer our talent, expertise and resources to help provide young people the relevant (financial) skills to create economic opportunities.’
