Tjeerd Bosklopper to succeed David Knibbe as CEO of NN Group
Today, NN Group announces that its Supervisory Board intends to appoint Tjeerd Bosklopper as CEO of the company. Tjeerd, who is currently CEO of NN Netherlands Non-life, Bank & Technology, will succeed David Knibbe, who will step down from NN Group as of 1 March 2027 to pursue an opportunity outside the company.
The appointment of Tjeerd has been approved by the Dutch Central Bank and will be effective after notification to the General Meeting of NN Group at the annual general meeting (AGM), to be held on 12 May 2027. To ensure continuity and in line with NN Group’s articles of association, the Supervisory Board has designated Tjeerd as CEO-designate to occupy the vacant seat on the Executive Board from 1 March 2027 until his appointment takes effect.
Tjeerd was appointed to the Management Board of NN Group in September 2018. In his current role, he is responsible for the Dutch non-life and banking businesses and technology. Since 2024, he oversaw the introduction and implementation of Future Ready, a company-wide digital transformation programme. In previous roles, he held various leadership positions across NN and ING, both in the Netherlands and internationally. He started his career as a global management trainee at ING.

The Central Works Council of NN Group has provided a positive advice on the intended appointment.
