Art & culture
Art inspires and connects. It has the ability to move you. It evokes emotions and touches your heart. Art can make you think differently and encourage creativity. Enjoying art together, and the stories behind the pieces, gives a different point of view on life. Art can enrich anyone's life. That is why NN Group is committed to making art and culture accessible to everyone. Because what matters to you matters to us. You matter.
Art inspires and connects
Art challenges you to look at the world around you from a new perspective. Artists are known as the pioneers of their time. NN Group supports artists by acquiring artworks for the NN Art Collection.

NN Art Collection
The NN Art Collection consists of over 1,500 works of art, which can be seen in our Dutch offices. They contribute to an inspiring work environment and connect employees with contemporary art. Three themes are central to the collection: experimentation, research, and innovation, with a focus on artists who completed part of their art education in the Netherlands. Additionally, we also find it important that the artists provide new angles and perspectives on the world we live in and address relevant themes.

The NN Art Award
Since 2017, we grant this award annually to an exceptionally talented artist who has been trained in the Netherlands and whose work can be seen at Art Rotterdam. With the NN Art Award, we aim to highlight the exceptional quality of Dutch art education. The award consists of a cash prize of 10,000 euros. In addition, NN purchases work from one or more of the nominees for our corporate collection.
All nominees will have the unique opportunity to exhibit their work at the Kunsthal Rotterdam. In the exhibition, the nominated artists will have the opportunity to show a greater variety of work to a wide audience for a longer period. This further increases the visibility of the artists.
