Erik Muetstege appointed as Chair of the Supervisory Board of Nationale-Nederlanden Bank

Nationale-Nederlanden Bank (NN Bank) announced today that André Bergen will step down as Chair of the Supervisory Board of NN Bank as of 1 May 2024. Erik Muetstege (63) has been appointed by NN Group as his successor.

Erik Muetstege has a strong track record of 30 years in the financial services industry, mainly in the retail banking sector where he has held various executive positions at Postbank, Westland Utrecht and Nationale-Nederlanden. Currently, he holds several Supervisory Board positions in the financial industry.

The appointment of Erik Muetstege as Chair has been approved by The Dutch Central Bank (DNB), the Dutch supervisory authority.
