How the fund operates
At NN, we believe that targeted support for social innovation can help close well-being gaps and drive positive change. Social enterprises help drive social innovation and make a positive impact on society. Via our NN Social Innovation Fund we champion early-stage social enterprises that create solutions that support financial, physical and mental well-being. As the type of support we offer varies, so does the type of impact we contribute to and the way that it is measured.
Through strategic partnerships with impact funds NN Social Innovation Funds gives social enterprises access to:

What we do
Partner of the Shaping Impact Group’s SI3 Fund
In 2023, we invested EUR 500,000 in SI3 Fund managed by Shaping Impact Group. This fund invests in early-stage ventures that make society more inclusive, fair and safe.

Partner of Rubio Impact Ventures Fund III
In 2025, we invested EUR 2 million in Rubio Impact Ventures’ Fund III. Our partnership focuses on early-stage growth capital for entrepreneurs that strengthen social cohesion through well-being, education and inclusion. Our partnership is part of Rubio’s People Power theme.
Co-founder of NN Social Innovation Startup Award
The NN Social Innovation Startup Award is a programme that supports early-stage social enterprises. With our co-founder Rubio Impact Ventures, we organize a pitch event designed to discover, fund and support promising early-stage people tech startups focused on equal opportunities and well-being.
