NN Social Innovation Startup Award returns in 2026

Social enterprises drive social innovation and make a positive impact on society. Via the NN Social Innovation Fund we support social entrepreneurs by providing them with essential resources like funding and access to networks.  

At NN, we are committed to contribute to the well‑being of people in our communities. In line with this ambition, the NN Social Innovation Startup Award returns for its third edition on 11 June during the Hello Tomorrow Summit in Amsterdam. Early‑stage startups will pitch tech‑enabled solutions that improve mental, physical or financial well‑being, particularly for people whose well‑being is under pressure. The award is part of our collaboration with Rubio Impact Ventures, to support emerging ‘people‑tech’ startups across NN markets in Europe.  

The winning startup receives a €100,000 grant from NN's Social Innovation Fund and access to mentors, investors and the mission-driven networks of both NN and Rubio. Finalists also gain visibility and support to scale their impact. 

We encourage startups that use technology to improve people's mental, physical or financial well‑being to apply. Applications are open until 14 April 2026 on www.socialinnovationaward.com.
